Information for Weddings – Legal
Requirements

There are some legal requirements that must be met prior to officiating the wedding:

Completion of the Notice of Intended Marriage: This form needs to be completed at least 30 days prior to your wedding date.
Each party must consent to marry and you must be legally able to marry.
You will need to provide proof of where you were born i.e.: birth certificate or passport.
You must also provide evidence of proof of identity i.e. : driver’s license or proof of age card or passport.
If you have been previously married and if divorced you will need to bring along your divorce certificate.
If you are a widower you will need to supply a death certificate of your spouse.

Fee and Services for Wedding Ceremony – $600

For weddings in the local area, including driving to the coast or surrounding areas. I am available for weddings outside the local area; however fees will be charged for travel and accommodation if needed. This can be discussed in the initial interview.

The fee for a wedding ceremony includes:

Initial Meeting with you to complete all the legal paperwork and discuss wedding plans
Pre-Wedding Meeting (1-2 weeks before the wedding day)
Marriage Preparation Booklet for you to keep which includes suggested vows, order of service, scripture verses and other general wedding information.
Completion of all legal documentation to officiate the wedding
Commemorative Certificate for you to keep after the wedding
Conducting a rehearsal if required (30-60 minutes)
Performing the ceremony (Usually the ceremony takes about 30 minutes depending on how detailed the service is)
Processing and submitting paperwork to Births Deaths and Marriages (BDM).

What is not included:

Signing Table and Chairs
Music for the wedding ceremony
Microphone and amplifier
Wedding Planning

In addition to the Wedding Preparation meetings, Dr Rob also offers a Pre-marital Relationship Coaching Package for $500
4 x 60-minute sessions aimed at developing strong foundations for a lasting marriage
