4C Leadership© is a flexible model of Consulting and Coaching where Dr Rob can quickly help churches and pastors identify the areas where they need help, and create a plan to consistently move forward faster. The Church Health Assessment Tool (CHAT) is part of Dr Rob’s 4C Leadership© Framework which is based on 4 key areas of a church (the 4 C’s) found in Acts 9:31. The CHAT will help you identify areas needing care and attention for the church’s vitality and health. Each of these 4 areas are assessed, together with the 16 church systems that make up the 4 areas of ministry. Each question measures both how effective you are in that area and whether you have any factual evidence to support your evaluation of effectiveness.
The four key areas are:
Chemistry Who is on the Team? (Leadership Roles) – Their Function and their Fit. Assessing the Leadership styles, skills and spiritual gifts.
Culture Where is the Church going? – Its Focus and its Future. Identifying, building and advancing church culture through its vision, mission and core values.
Competency What is the Church doing? – Its Activity and its Accomplishments. Analysing the effectiveness of the church in key ministry systems.
Compliance How is the Church complying? – In its Planning (Strategic), in its Policies and Procedures, in its Personnel (HR), and in its Profitability (Financial Viability).
